About Us . . .
Stormy Lynn Photography was developed when Skip and some friends of ours decided that I have talent as a landscape photographer (they are still trying to convince me). So . . . Skip has taken my hobby and turned it into a business. I take the photographs and he does most of the matting and framing and all of the marketing. I have a few larger landscapes hanging in businesses around town and Skip has managed to sell smaller versions, notecards, postcards, calendars, and whatever else he can slap a picture on at holiday bazaars, flea markets and on our website. He has fun doing it, and it keeps him out of trouble. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
The name "Stormy" is a nickname given to me when I was a child - some say it was because I was born in the worst blizzard South Dakota ever had, others that know me say it must have been because of my temperament. Don't worry - I just take the pictures, Skip manages the business.
The business has given Skip something to do in his retirement, so give him a call if you see something you like, he enjoys talking to people. It also gives us an excuse to take longer vacations to picturesque locations.
